Job Summary

The Junior Data Analyst is a member of the Analytics team in the Venn department They are in charge of the entire data lifecycle, from collecting and storing it to cleaning, analyzing, reporting, and coming up with new ideas.

 They also help teams learn from each other and share knowledge This entry-level job is perfect for someone who loves data, has good analytical skills, and wants to learn and grow in the field of analytics

Responsibilities, Roles, and Duties

• Look at and make sense of program data (input, output, and result data) to help make decisions
• In charge of sorting, cleaning, checking, and combining raw data files for analysis
• Help in checking the quality of data, controlling it, and managing it for field collection activities
• In charge of organizing and preserving data outputs, making sure that all reports based on analyzed data are finished correctly, appropriately documented, and placed in the right folders for future use and reference
• Work with the other Venn team units to create the right tools for collecting and combining data, and make plans to upgrade them regularly to increase data quality
• Assist with the management of the organization's Centralized M&E Database by setting up automated workflows that allow for real-time information and data visualization
• Help in planning and organizing field surveys, which includes making work plans, schedules, and other important tools like survey rules that protect the privacy, accuracy, and quality of the data collected
• Give field staff the tools they need to reach their data collection goals and deliver data and information in the best way for future analysis
• Help in finishing and putting together project monitoring and assessment reports for making decisions
• Other tasks that supervisors ask you to do

Qualifications, Education, and Skills

Skills and Traits:  
Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather, evaluate, and share a lot of analysis results while paying close attention to detail and correctness  
Showed that they knew and understood how to use Theories of Change (TOC)  
Ability to use M&E process-based techniques such reporting, data quality assurance, feasibility studies, result-based and participatory monitoring and evaluation  
Good at training and leading groups  
Works well with others, but is also self-motivated and proactive  
Able to work well with changing priorities and deadlines that are close to each other  
Having done participatory research in communities at the end of the line will be helpful
