Job Summary
The Manager, Employee Value Banking at Stanbic Bank will drive growth through the Employee Value Banking (EVB) proposition for consumer clients by identifying financial and transactional needs and recommending suitable solutions.
Roles, Duties, and Responsibilities
- Research and analyze the local market to understand key business drivers, influencers, and competitor activity
- Identify sales gaps and implement remedial action plans
- Build a sufficient network with product and segment owners to support and establish points of contact for new leads
- Develop and implement business attraction plans for personal solutions, including market potential analysis
- Monitor performance (sales against targets) of acquired clients by tracking recorded sales and activity schedules
- Drive attainment of sales and service targets
- Proactively canvass and expand current personal market client relationships by packaging and marketing financial products suited to market financial demands
- Conduct competitor analysis as input into strategies and plans to counter competitors’ EVB strategies
- Track EVB milestones, penetration of new-to-bank clients in chosen organizations, across industry sectors
Qualifications, Education, and Competencies
- First Degree in Business, Commerce, or similar from an accredited institution
- 5–7 years of experience in creating and developing client value propositions
- Experience in CHNW/Business Clients distribution environment
- Experience in implementing data management, advanced analytics, business intelligence, and quantitative methodologies
