Key Responsibilities

  • Assume the responsibility of managing the sales office personnel and ensuring that sales targets are met
  • One of the objectives is to develop and execute a comprehensive business plan that would broaden the client base of Uganda Airlines and guarantee its robust presence in the market
  • I am responsible for overseeing the day-to-day sales activities and ensuring that I provide exceptional customer service to all airline customers
  • Provide assistance in the process of selecting and recruiting sales reps and staff as well as establishing goals providing coaching and assessing their performance
  • The objective is to establish and foster robust and enduring customer connections with walk-in customers corporate clients travel agencies tour operators and other similar entities by forming partnerships with them and gaining an understanding of their requirements
  • The management team should be provided with information on sales targets as well as reports on income and expenses and estimates that are based on reality
  • It is essential to identify rising markets and shifts in the market while simultaneously being fully aware of new products and the status of competitors
  • Together with other members of the team you will be responsible for initiating and carrying out sales promotion efforts with the objective of acquiring a larger market share and boosting income
  • Manage a sales office that is both professional and efficient making use of the technological advancements that have been made in the business
  • The role of the champion and face of the airline is to represent the firm in accordance with the requirements

Minimum Experience and Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in business administration or an area that is closely related is required
  • In order to be considered for this position it is desirable to have prior experience working as a sales representative for an airline sales office or call center or as a sales manager in the travel or hospitality industry
  • We are dedicated to providing ongoing education by means of engaging in workshops seminars and conferences
  • Demonstrated capability to successfully communicate present and exert influence at all levels of the business while maintaining credibility and credibility
  • Proven prowess in driving the sales process from the planning stage to the closing stage
  • Possessing a strong business sense and understanding in the industry
  • I possess exceptional abilities in mentoring coaching and managing people efficiently
