Vendor and Contract Management Officer (Job Ref: ITO4.22, Rank: SBOII)
About the Role
Are you skilled in procurement and vendor relations? Join the Bank of Uganda’s IT Operations and Infrastructure Department as a Vendor and Contract Management Officer (2 positions) to manage IT vendor relationships, reporting to the Team Leader, IT Compliance.
Key Responsibilities

| Develop vendor management frameworks and negotiate contracts. |
| Prepare IT budgets and procurement plans. |
| Monitor vendor compliance with SLAs. |
| Manage vendor risk and performance metrics. |
| Submit procurement and budget performance reports. |
What We’re Looking For
| Requirement | Details |
|---|---|
| Qualifications | First Class or Upper Second-Class degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related fields. Certifications in ITIL or PMP are a plus. |
| Experience | At least 5 years in vendor and contract management. |
| Age | 30.0 to 38.0 years old by August 22, 2025. |
| Competencies | Technical: Procurement, budgeting, and contract management skills. Behavioral: Negotiation, communication, strategic thinking. |
