Job Summary

The Accounts and Admin Officer at Exquisite Solution Limited will maintain accurate financial records, support tax compliance, and streamline financial operations, while overseeing administrative tasks to ensure smooth office functioning.

Roles, Duties, and Responsibilities

  • Handle daily accounting tasks using Tally software
  • Ensure compliance with URA regulations and timely submission of returns
  • Maintain proper bookkeeping and inventory records
  • Prepare budgets, monitor, and control them
  • Manage the issuance and processing of Purchase Orders (POs) and Local Purchase Orders (LPOs) to international suppliers
  • Liaise with banks for submission and negotiation of Letters of Credit (LC) applications
  • Maintain accurate monthly records of debtors and creditors
  • Plan and oversee all administrative tasks related to procurement and finance
  • Handle documentation and interactions with URA and other government agencies
  • Ensure daily office tasks run smoothly through supervision
  • Facilitate communication and document exchange between departments and external partners
  • Assist management with audits and financial reports as required

Qualifications, Education, and Competencies

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Proven experience in accounting and administration, preferably in a company with a turnover of 7 to 8 billion UGX
  • Proficiency in Tally and knowledge of URA regulations
  • Strong skills in bookkeeping, inventory management, budgeting, and financial reporting
  • Knowledge of Letters of Credit (LC) and banking operations
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
