Troubleshooting and Problem Solving | Participate in and direct troubleshooting activities in the event of equipment failure, including failure analysis, problem solving, and prevention. Work with the production team to make rapid, educated decisions to troubleshoot systems, resolve issues through investigation, analysis, testing, and follow-up. |
Maintenance | Perform preventative maintenance and repairs as required, in addition to planned automation maintenance duties. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs. |
Team Collaboration | Develop positive and respectful interactions with managers, supervisors, maintenance technicians, and machine operators. |
Workplace Safety and Additional Duties | Participate in a continuous improvement culture while following safe workplace practices. Perform other duties as per business plan and required by supervisor/manager. |
Requirement | Description |
---|---|
Education | Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution. |
Experience | A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role in a busy environment. |
Key Requirements | Ability to comprehend electrical schematics and understand symbols on P&ID’s and tag references layout drawing. Proficiency in using a multimeter and working in control panels with up to 480VAC. Ability to replace and configure AB PowerFlex and Danfoss VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives). Capability to diagnose BUS faults (Profibus, Profinet, Ethercat). Knowledge of Siemens and B&R PLCs and servomotors. Ability to learn new technical skills. |
