The Specialist - Production Assurance, who reports to the IT Service Delivery Manager, is in charge of leading the monitoring of IT services, production assurance, and 24/7 monitoring of digital services layers They are also in charge of making sure that IT services are of high quality, managing transitions, configuring systems, solving problems, controlling changes, managing SLAs, and planning for disasters
Main Responsibilities
In charge of and responsible for keeping a reliable Configuration Management Database, Definitive Hardware Store, and Definitive Software Library
In charge of the ITIL processes for Technology Release Management, Change Management, and Problem Management
Keep an eye on problems and report on their progress to make sure the Problem management team fixes them within the agreed-upon SLA timeframes
Use the IT Problem management approach, offer temporary fixes (workarounds), come up with permanent fixes for known bugs, and make sure that lessons are learned from past difficulties
Get Root Cause Analysis (RCA) from the system owners to fix problems and stop them from happening again Do this through reactive and proactive procedures within established RTO schedules to improve the quality of IT services
Help with the planning, execution, and coordination of IT disaster recovery activities to make sure that company can continue
Keep an eye on services and do Events Management on all Configuration Items (CIs) to find and report any problems or unusual events
Help the Manager of IT Service Delivery keep track of and write down both External and Internal SLAs and stakeholders
