Role Overview
The Head, Ecosystems and Partnerships leads dfcu’s inorganic growth strategy. You will own the vision, strategy, solution design, implementation, and commercial outcomes of priority ecosystems. This role combines thought leadership, strategic partnerships, product development, and go-to-market execution. You will challenge the status quo, influence leadership, and drive transformation in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Ecosystems Strategy and Commercialization
- Develop and implement ecosystem strategy aligned with dfcu’s purpose and revenue goals
- Own investment cases for new and existing ecosystem expansions
- Define short-term and long-term commercial plans using technology and digitization
- Prioritize outcomes, align stakeholders, and mobilize resources for value delivery
Solutions Delivery and Management
- Act as the voice of the customer within ecosystems
- Guide solution development based on customer needs and market feedback
- Oversee project teams with PMO and third-party partners
- Establish governance for processes, risk, partner onboarding, and SLAs
- Monitor partner performance and ensure customer retention
Strategic Partnerships and Stakeholder Engagement
- Identify, negotiate, and onboard high-growth third-party partners
- Build relationships with regulators, industry bodies, and internal teams
- Foster collaboration across dfcu Group for holistic client solutions
Qualifications and Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s in Business, Finance, Economics, or Computer Science. MBA preferred
- Experience: 10+ years in:
- Business strategy and planning
- Digital product management and development
- Sales enablement and demand generation
- Scaling new business models
- Skills:
- Strategic and critical thinking
- Product commercialization and go-to-market
- UX-centered design and API product knowledge
- Financial acumen and operational diligence
- Influencing leadership and driving accountability
- Mindset: Self-starter, intellectually curious, thrives in ambiguity
