Job Summary

Kray Microfinance Ltd seeks dynamic Field Banking Officers to join its team across multiple branches in Kyaliwajjala, Kampala (City Centre), Nateete, Nansana, and Kawempe. Reporting to the Branch Manager, the role involves driving deposits, opening new accounts, and marketing financial products in local communities. Candidates for outlying branches must be able to ride a motorcycle, and women are particularly encouraged to apply for the City Centre branch.

Roles, Duties, and Responsibilities

• Promote deposits, investments, and new client accounts in the assigned area
• Conduct community outreach, field visits, and product awareness sessions
• Register customers for digital savings and investment products via mobile and agent platforms
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to keep accounts active and growing
• Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly targets for deposits and investments
• Support branch-led community outreach programs, campaigns, and activations
• Submit accurate daily activity and performance reports to the Branch Manager and Product Lead
• Ensure compliance with Kray’s operational protocols, KYC rules, and customer service standards

Qualifications, Education, and Skills

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum 1 year of experience in sales, field marketing, or microfinance operations
• Ability to ride a motorcycle (required for Kyaliwajjala, Nateete, Nansana, and Kawempe branches)
• Key Skills:
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
  • Basic proficiency in using smartphones and mobile banking apps
  • Driven, disciplined, and results-oriented mindset
• Note: Women are particularly encouraged to apply for the Kampala City Centre branch
