Job Summary
MOGO Uganda seeks energetic and results-driven Field Sales Officers to promote and market Boda Loans and other financial products. The ideal candidate will excel in customer engagement, field sales, and helping clients access affordable loans to improve their lives.
Roles, Duties, and Responsibilities
- Achieve and exceed weekly, monthly, and annual sales targets for Boda Loans and other MOGO products
- Conduct field visits to identify, engage, and onboard eligible customers
- Clearly explain loan terms, repayment options, and product benefits to potential clients
- Ensure customer applications meet company compliance and qualification criteria
- Follow up on client repayment commitments to ensure timely payments and minimize defaults
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and payment schedules in the company’s ERP system
- Address client inquiries and complaints professionally, escalating complex issues as needed
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business and retention
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to enhance product offerings and sales strategies
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and regulations related to loans and sales
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Branch Manager
Qualifications, Education, and Skills
- Experience in field sales, customer engagement, or loan management, preferably in the boda or microfinance sector
- Strong understanding of sales techniques, credit management, and portfolio maintenance
- Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with ERP systems or sales tracking software
- Ability to analyze market trends and identify sales opportunities
- Knowledge of financial services compliance regulations
- Highly self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently in the field
- Education: Minimum high school diploma; a diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field is an advantage
- Mobility: Valid driver’s license or ability to travel within designated areas is preferred
