Job Summary

MOGO Uganda is seeking a results-driven Field Collections Team Leader – Vehicles to join the Customer Experience Department. This role involves leading a team of field agents and repossession officers, driving performance, and ensuring smooth field operations to deliver exceptional service in vehicle financing collections. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader passionate about people, performance, and process improvement.

Roles, Duties, and Responsibilities

Assign field visit cases to agents and monitor their performance
Coordinate daily tasks for repossession officers, ensuring adequate support
Lead the team by setting goals, motivating members, and resolving issues
Enhance individual and team performance of field agents
Support training and onboarding of new debt collectors
Establish specific goals and conduct regular performance reviews
Identify training needs, develop materials, and recommend external training as needed
Develop strategies to ensure adherence to debt collection policies and performance targets
Conduct regular team meetings to discuss goal updates, procedures, and performance
Guide employees on proper use of the company’s ERP system and field collection equipment
Prepare and analyze detailed reports on team performance
Propose and implement improvements to the debt collection process
Ensure accurate daily repossession reporting in Redash and the system
Perform additional tasks as assigned

Qualifications, Education, and Competencies

Degree or diploma in Business Administration or a related field
At least 4 years of relevant experience in collections or field operations
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
Ability to adapt quickly and work independently
Fluent in English
Demonstrated leadership skills with a high level of integrity and reliability
