Job Summary

M-KOPA is seeking a Head of Business Management to join its General Management Team in Uganda. This senior leadership role serves as a strategic partner to the General Manager driving business transformation across all key functions.

The position combines strategic oversight with operational expertise leading high-impact initiatives and incubating new business lines

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Business Support

Serve as a strategic partner to the General Manager on business-critical initiatives and transformation projects
Manage local business relationships with key partners (MNOs OEMs Retention DFS) review performance and address operational issues
Monitor marketing performance and ensure alignment with acquisition and retention objectives
Lead market-wide business intelligence and analytics initiatives developing comprehensive dashboards and KPI frameworks
Drive data-driven decision-making through advanced analytics performance modeling and predictive insights

Cross-Functional Operational Excellence

Partner with department heads to design and implement solutions for operational challenges and performance optimization
Lead analytics and pricing optimization strategies to enhance revenue management and business intelligence capabilities
Coordinate with the global Center of Excellence to implement and monitor fraud prevention strategies
Optimize cross-functional processes and eliminate operational silos to improve overall business performance

Project Leadership & Innovation Incubation

Manage critical strategic projects including new product/financial services launches and market expansion initiatives
Lead the incubation and development of new business lines and revenue verticals for local operations
Own complex transformation projects and business innovation initiatives requiring senior-level stakeholder management
Drive innovation strategy new revenue stream development and change management at the senior leadership level
