What the Job Is

Job Title: Outbound Telesales Representative (Call Center Jobs)

Location of duty: Kampala, Uganda

Job Summary: We need a Telesales Representative to join our Customer Retention team as we grow and work to make sure everyone has access to digital and financial services in all of our regions.

As a Telesales Representative, you'll be an important part of increasing sales by talking to current clients on the phone.

You will successfully launch and sell M-KOPA's new products, meet and exceed sales goals, and develop strong, long-lasting connections with customers.

Your donations will immediately help us reach our goal of making important goods and services available to everyone.

Duties, Roles, and Responsibilities

Excellence in Sales:

  • To boost sales, actively offer and sell more M-KOPA goods to current clients.
  • Use effective sales methods to reach and surpass the campaign's conversion and sales goals.

Customer Engagement:

  • To get customers to stay loyal, you need to build and keep strong relationships with them.
  • Take care of questions, complaints, and objections in a professional and timely manner.

Quality Standards:

  • Keep high call quality standards by giving customers complete and accurate information.

Productivity Goals:

  • To reach your daily and weekly goals, you need to meet the expected conversation time and call handling benchmarks and handle interactions effectively.

Feedback and Reporting:

  • Keep precise records of how you communicate with customers and give the Telesales Team Lead regular updates on how the campaign is going.

Skills, Education, and Qualifications

The person we want to hire is someone who loves sales, talking to customers, and reaching goals.

  • A bachelor's degree or diploma in business management or a similar subject is required.
  • Experience: You should have worked in a corporate setting for at least two years, and it would be best if you had worked in the BPO or call center industry.
  • Skills:
    • Good in talking and writing.
    • Great skills in coaching, giving presentations, and working with people.
    • A concentration on getting results and meeting or exceeding sales goals.
    • Always operate with high morals and honesty when dealing with customers.
