The Milk Procurement and Extension Officer works directly with farmers, cooperatives, and milk collecting centers to make sure that there is always a steady supply of high-quality raw milk. The "ROKU 100 FARMER MODEL" is a plan to create a reliable network of 100 key suppliers
This function helps make that happen The officer will also use SAP to keep track of milk delivery, check the quality, and make reports on purchases
To make the best use of procurement activities, the position requires a strong presence in the field, technical extension assistance, and making decisions based on data
Roles, Duties, and Responsibilities
Getting Milk and Recording It in SAP:
Make sure that the milk is picked up every day from the right places and delivered to the facility on schedule
In SAP, make sure to keep track of the right amounts of milk, the names of the suppliers, and the quality criteria
Keep an eye on milk supply patterns and report any problems with quality or consistency
Make sure that hygiene and safety rules are followed when handling and moving milk
Under the RUKO model, find, hire, and help 100 core farmers:
Make regular trips to the field to teach them how to care for animals, feed them, and keep milk clean
Encourage the use of contemporary dairy farming methods and environmentally friendly farming methods
Set up workshops and feedback sessions to help farmers understand
Quality Control and Compliance:
Help with milk testing at collection centers and make sure that quality standards are followed
Work with the Quality Assurance team to deal with cases of spoiling or adulteration
Use SAP and field documents to keep track of where the milk comes from
Make ensuring that internal and regulatory standards are met
Data Managemeunt and GIS Integration:
Use mobile and SAP capabilities to collect data on purchases and make reports
Help with GIS mapping of supplier zones to improve the flow of milk and logistics
Look at procurement data to help you make decisions about the supply chain and how to help farmers
Getting People Involved:
Talk to farmer groups, local leaders, and government extension officers
Make it easier for people to get veterinary care, money, and training
Handle complaints from suppliers and keep good connections with milk producers
Speak for Ruko Establishments in community dairy development projects

Education
A diploma or bachelor's degree in animal science, agriculture, or a related topic
Experience
2 to 4 years of experience in dairy extension, procurement, or field operations
Skills: Knowing about dairy farming, milk quality regulations, and SAP systems Good in working with others, training, and writing reports Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite, SAP, mobile data tools, and GPS
