Job Summary

The Rider is responsible for providing reliable and timely delivery and pickup services for urgent stock.This role is crucial for maintaining smooth business operations by ensuring that clients receive their orders promptly and that emergency supplies are collected from suppliers efficiently all while adhering to the highest standards of safety and accuracy

• Reporting To: C-CARE Uganda Stores Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Logistics & Delivery: Execute timely deliveries of stock to clients and pick up emergency stock from suppliers as per the agreed-upon schedules
• Documentation: Ensure all delivery and pickup documents (such as waybills and delivery notes) are accurately filled out and processed
• Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain the assigned company motorcycle in excellent working condition This includes routine checks refueling and promptly reporting any mechanical issues or servicing needs to the supervisor
• Safety & Compliance: Strictly adhere to all company policies national traffic regulations and road safety standards to ensure personal and public safety
• Additional Support: Provide support for other logistical administrative or office tasks as assigned especially during periods when delivery demands are lower This may include filing running errands or assisting other departments

Your performance will be measured based on:

• Timeliness: Consistently meeting delivery and pickup deadlines
• Accuracy: Error-free handling of all related documentation
• Compliance: Strict adherence to safety rules and company policies
• Customer Satisfaction: Positive feedback from clients regarding the delivery service
• Asset Care: Maintaining the company motorcycle in good condition

Qualifications and Experience

Personal Skills & Attributes

• Reliability: Punctual dependable and able to work with a high degree of integrity
• Communication: Possess good interpersonal and communication skills
• Responsibility: Strong sense of accountability for assigned tasks and the company asset (motorcycle)
• Adaptability: Ability to work under pressure respond quickly to urgent requests and be flexible to support other functions when needed
