What the Job Is About

Title of Job: Senior Associate, Technology and Business Solutions

Group: BondRich Advisory

Duty Station: Kampala, Uganda

Job Summary: We need a Senior Associate, Technology & Business Solutions who is one of a kind, has business sense, and knows how to work with clients. The Senior Associate for Technology and Business Solutions will be a key player in helping our technology improve and our market grow. This job combines IT management, training facilitation, and business development leadership, making it a one-of-a-kind chance for a tech-savvy person to start a career in consulting.

Duties, Roles, and Responsibilities

IT Systems Management and Development:

• Plan, build, and keep up all of the company's IT infrastructure.
• Lead the design and development of HR technology solutions, such as applicant tracking systems (ATS), CV databases and talent pools, learning management systems, e-commerce platforms, and any other IT systems that the organization may need.
• Help users with all of their IT needs, such as installing and upgrading software, configuring systems, and setting up file backups and security measures.
• Train users on how to use new systems

Managing and leading training programs:

• Work with the business development team to create and build a full training calendar for all of the training programs.
• Plan training sessions, run and help with training modules for both clients and staff.
• Make training proposals for clients that explain our experience, methods, and results.

Business Growth and Development:

• Under the direction of the Head of Business, keep an eye on what the business development team is doing.
• Teach the business development staff how to use social media tools like LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, WhatsApp, and others to get new clients.
• Come up with and put into action fresh and inventive ways to get qualified leads and increase company sales.
• Set realistic goals for yourself and your team, and then make sure that everyone meets those goals by following up often.
• Develop company development and promotional materials, including; Digital Flyers & Brochures, Corporate Presentations, Social Media Banners and Content etc.

Career Development and Technology Initiatives:

• Use AI to find and make new business partnerships.
• Take part in mentorship sessions with the Head of Business in all areas of consulting and business solutions.

Skills, Education, and Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a similar field.
• 2–3 years of proven experience in a job that includes managing IT systems, developing applications, and providing business solutions to clients.
• A strong desire to learn and build a long-term career in consulting.
• Having worked at a consulting firm is a big plus.
• Being good in full-stack development languages and frameworks.
• Experience with managing and designing databases.
• You must have proven experience in sales, marketing, or business development.
• Hands-on experience utilizing AI to grow businesses and find new leads.
• You should be good at using graphics design tools like Canva, Adobe Illustrator, or Photoshop.
• Very good at training and leading.
• Good in leading, talking to people, and managing projects.
• A self-starter who has shown that they can create and reach goals.
