Job Summary:
BondRich Advisory Group is looking for a Procurement and Logistics Officer to handle supplier relationships, negotiate good deals, and make sure that procurement and logistics run well.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Find and pre-qualify possible suppliers of raw materials, packaging, and spare parts for machinery.
- Negotiate good conditions with suppliers, such as prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and quality standards.
- Build and keep solid, long-term connections with important suppliers.
- Based on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), regularly analyze the performance of suppliers.
- Prepare, monitor, and administer supply agreements and contracts.
- Make sure that all the materials you buy meet the exact technical requirements for each production line.
- Work closely with the planning and warehouse teams to keep an eye on supply levels.
- Respond correctly to Material Requirements Planning (MRP) signals to make and place orders for goods.
- Work with suppliers and logistics companies to make sure that materials are delivered on schedule.
- Make sure that all suppliers follow the company's quality requirements and any industry certifications that are appropriate.
- Make, send out, and keep track of Purchase Orders (POs) correctly in the ERP/MRP system.
- Work with the finance department to fix problems with invoices
Experience and Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, engineering, or a related subject
- Experience as a Procurement Officer is required, and experience in a manufacturing setting (plastics, chemicals, or FMCG is a plus).
- Strong skills in negotiation and communication
- The ability to analyze and solve problems
- The ability to use ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Great talents at managing time and organizing things
- Ability to handle stress in a busy setting
