Key Duties and Responsibilities

Task	Description
Equipment Installation and Maintenance	Install and maintain manufacturing machines and other equipment in the plant facility in a wide range of ways. Perform routine maintenance on machinery, tools, and plant facilities to prevent breakdowns.
Repair and Troubleshooting	Fix production equipment that breaks down unexpectedly or during production. Perform regular maintenance repairs during machine servicing. Diagnose and fix manufacturing machines, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic work. Find faults, fix or replace parts, test, and make adjustments.
Machining and Technical Tasks	Perform basic machining work and tasks. Read and understand work orders and equipment manuals to carry out required maintenance and service.
Plumbing and Construction	Undertake various plumbing and construction tasks as required.
Tool Usage and Reporting	Use a range of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment to perform duties. Identify operational and material issues, reporting them and any unusual situations to the appropriate personnel.
Work Order Management	Obtain work orders and determine required tools, parts, and services for repairs and maintenance.
Safety and Organization	Follow safety rules and maintain clean and organized workspaces. Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Work Experience and/or Education

Requirement	Description
Education	At least a diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field in engineering.
Experience	At least one year of experience in a similar job in a hectic setting. Previous employment in general maintenance, plumbing, or HVAC.
Key Requirements	Knowledge of working with boilers, pipes, and welding. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Effective time management and organizational skills. Strong problem-solving skills. Customer service skills. Analytical thinking and quick adaptability to new situations. Commitment to continuous learning. Ability to work independently or in a team.
