Responsibilities, Duties, and Roles

  • Adhere to and promote health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations, ensuring compliance within the area of responsibility
  • Develop, implement, and maintain procedures, tools, and systems for efficient scheduling, progress control, and reporting activities
  • Create a Work Breakdown Structure for all project stages to meet progress control, cost control, and reporting requirements
  • Collaborate with Cost Controllers to ensure data consistency
  • Develop, maintain, and update overall Package schedules as requested by Package Management, providing assessments and simulations of new schedules as needed
  • Assist Packages Management in reviewing and commenting on contractors’ procedures, schedules, and progress management methods, monitoring execution schedules, and approving progress measurements and reports
  • Analyze and run "what-if" simulations when project milestones are at risk, proposing corrective actions
  • Define a Monthly Report structure that meets the needs of the Concessionaire/Partners and the Project
  • Follow the EPC Project Controls Leader’s instructions and perform reporting tasks as directed
  • Produce Project Monthly and Weekly Reports at all project stages as instructed by the Services Leader
  • Support Package and Construction Management with scheduling, progress reporting, and general reporting, taking ownership of all scheduling and reporting tasks
  • Report to the Project Control Leader and Lead Planner promptly, highlighting progress and any issues

Qualifications, Education, and Skills

RequirementDetails
EducationA Bachelor of Science or equivalent in an engineering field or construction technology area
ExperienceAt least 10 years of experience working on projects, including at least 5 years of experience planning projects in the oil and gas or infrastructure industries

Skills:
Extensive experience with MS Excel, MS Project, and Primavera
Strong analytical and reporting skills
Ability to collaborate and cooperate with various teams, with a basic understanding of multiple disciplines
Proactive in gathering information from disciplinary teams
Capable of responding rapidly and decisively to changing demands and situations, identifying, evaluating, and resolving issues
Strong ability to challenge the opinions of contractors and internal stakeholders effectively
