Job Summary

As the Senior Manager, Trustee Services, you will lead our trustee services department, developing and implementing policies, processes, and technical solutions to enhance operational efficiency and ensure compliance .

You will oversee client accounts, monitor receivables, and drive profitability through effective relationship management and business development.

 This role involves close collaboration with regulators, auditors, fund managers, custodians, and other stakeholders to safeguard trust assets and meet legal, operational, and risk management standards You will also represent KCB at industry events, strengthening our market presence and reputation

Responsibilities, Roles, and Duties

  • Develop, implement, and refine policies, processes, and systems for trustee services
  • Drive business growth to increase customer base, value, and sales
  • Monitor accounts receivable, ensuring timely collection of client payments and benefits
  • Enhance profitability by strengthening existing relationships and identifying new revenue streams
  • Manage client accounts, including tracking trust assets, distributions, and records
  • Ensure compliance with all laws, regulations, operational procedures, and audit requirements
  • Reassess operational risks in response to changing market and regulatory conditions
  • Oversee regulatory reporting and coordination with auditors, fund managers, custodians, and valuers
  • Manage onboarding of new clients, ensuring compliance with KYC and AML regulations and service-level agreements
  • Build client trust through exceptional service and effective relationship management
  • Represent KCB at conferences, seminars, and professional events to enhance our market presence

Qualifications, Education, and Skills

RequirementDetails
EducationA bachelor’s degree from a recognized university (required)  
Additional professional certifications such as CISI, ICIFA, CFA, or ICIFA practicing membership (preferred)  
A master’s degree in business or a related field (preferred)
ExperienceMinimum of 8 years of total work experience  
At least 5 years of expertise in trustee services, including 3 years in relationship management  
Extensive experience in compliance, risk management, trustee services, and client engagement

Certification:  
Certification from the Trustee Development Program of Kenya (required)  
Skills:  
Exceptional leadership, analytical, and communication skills  
Proven ability to drive business growth and deliver results
