Job Summary 

KCB Bank Uganda is looking for an Assistant Relationship Manager for SMEs to work in the Forest Mall Branch.

 The main goals of this job are to establish relationships with clients, find new business prospects, and manage personal banking portfolios to help small and medium-sized businesses expand.

Responsibilities, Duties, and Roles

  • Build and keep relationships with clients to keep them from leaving
  • Find innovative ways to make money in personal banking
  • Cross-sell bank goods like electronic banking, assets, and liabilities.
  • Start personal loan applications with excellent underwriting processes.
  • Take care of personal banking portfolios and keep an eye on the daily branch budget.
  • Make sales calls and get information about the market.
  • Keep an eye on account activity and make reports as needed.
  • Take care of client issues and keep a record of them.
  • Make ensuring that KYC and AML rules and practices are followed

Qualifications, Education, and Skills

  • A degree in business or finance or a similar subject
  • A good understanding of banking products, policies, and procedures
  • Knowledge of KCB bank products and how to open an account
  • Knowledge of credit and how to read financial statements
  • Knowledge of credit scoring and risk management principles
  • Strong underwriting skills and knowledge of personal credit processes
  • Organized, proactive, creative, and trustworthy
  • A good team player that is honest and understands other cultures
