Main Reason for the Job

To put into action the strategy policies and procedures for running the sales territory and reaching the performance goals that have been defined

Main Job Duties
  • Build grow and keep business connections with current and potential clients in the designated territory/market segments to bring in new business for the company's goods and services
  • Make sure that supply management is efficient by giving oral and written reports on what customers require what difficulties they have what they are interested in what competitors are doing and what new products and services they could want
  • Plan and manage your own sales strategy to get the most out of your investment in the territory or market segment
  • Make sure that relationships with agents lead to more sales
  • To come up with plans to reach corporate goals
  • To build solid connections with Mobile Money agents and dealers and start marketing campaigns together
  • Find new ways to sell things and new ways to get them to customers
  • To oversee the growth of MTN mobile money retail locations so that customers may always find the products they need
  • Make sure that MTN mobile money stays competitive in terms of depth breadth customer experience and branding
  • To keep an eye on how MTN runs its exclusivity in important stores
  • To oversee and direct a group of trade development representatives
  • Find hire and keep an eye on distribution partners (SSO) to help you reach your goals for increasing sales and getting into more stores
  • Plan predict and analyze stock for distribution to dealer warehouses
  • Make sure that dealer Sales Managers and distribution partners get the greatest training mentoring and best practices
  • Meeting goals by reaching more people and expanding into new areas
  • Improve the MTN experience in MTN channel stores
  • Oversee the MTN Customer Experience plans in stores and in the trade
  • Make sure that stock levels and availability stay above the defined levels
Academic Requirements
Requirement
A bachelor's degree in business administration commerce or a similar discipline
Experience
  • 2 years of experience in sales and distribution in a telecom company or service business
  • Must have experience managing teams and overseeing other people
Skills and abilities
  • Must be able to work well with others and be self-motivated
  • A lot of knowledge about computers
  • Very good at talking to and getting along with others
  • Have a great sense of urgency and need to act
  • Able to work with little or no supervision
  • Have a valid driver's license and have been driving for more than two years
