Main Responsibilities

  • To reduce the risks that come with handling physical cash, create, put into action, and enforce cash management rules, processes, and procedures
  • Find holes in the cash center's processes and make improvements to the systems for all the items
  • Reporting and bringing up any cash disparities to the Heads of Central Operations and Business
  • Balancing and reconciling the cash accounts
  • Look into and clear up any reconciliation items as soon as possible
  • Look into and answer questions about cash quickly, give updates and escalate questions both inside and outside the company, and let stakeholders know about any problems or challenges
  • Managing the Cash in Transit service and coordinating between the branches and customers
  • Manage, inspire, and develop employees, and encourage teamwork by developing good working connections inside the unit and finding out what training they need
  • Check the processing and clearing unit's service reports to find service failures and make sure that corrective actions are taken
  • Effectively supervise service providers to make sure they follow their contracts, meet their deadlines, and check their invoices
  • Making sure that the cash center follows the right rules for managing keys and cash, such as doing surprise checks every month and requiring dual control
  • The custodian of the Central cash vault is also the main key custodian
  • Following the BOU's cash management rules and responding to messages on schedule
  • Prepare and send reports to the Head of Central Operations on operational problems, chances, and development plans and successes within the time frames agreed upon

Other Skills and Qualifications

  • Ability to plan and manage cash needs so that they are in line with insurance limits and cash needs
  • You need to be able to handle a lot of different things at once and prioritize them well to make sure that everything gets done on time and correctly
  • Ability to oversee and train workers, which includes making plans, setting priorities, and assigning work
  • The skill to get your point out clearly and quickly
  • Ability to figure out the right steps to take to reach goals and objectives, set priorities for those steps, and keep an eye on activities to make sure they lead to the intended results
  • A general understanding of how to handle risk
  • A high level of honesty and moral values
  • Ability to talk to people well
  • Very good at making connections with others
  • Ability to make decisions
  • Very fast and very accurate
  • Good in organizing and motivating others
  • Great people skills
