They are based in the East African Region and operate in the countries of Uganda ,Kenya ,Tanzania, Rwanda and South Sudan According to the requirements of our customer in the Warehousing and Transportation industry we are searching for a Finance manager who is capable skilled and experienced and who is based in Kampala.  This individual will be working at the site The Finance Manager is responsible for reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and the Finance Director is responsible for interacting with senior managers operations logistics warehouse and human resources

Requirements for the Job

• I possess a degree in business or any other degree that is pertinent
• Completely qualified (CPA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) or in the advanced stages of completion of any of these qualifications
• A minimum of seven years of professional experience
• It is essential to possess a strong understanding of accounting principles financial analysis and reporting in order to possess financial expertise
• To possess analytical skills one must possess the capability to analyze intricate financial data recognize trends and produce insights
• The individual possesses exceptional communication abilities both in terms of writing and vocal communication which enable them to successfully explain financial information to a wide range of stakeholders
• One of the leadership skills required is the ability to effectively manage and inspire a group of finance experts
• The ability to think strategically about financial matters and contribute to long-term planning is referred to as strategic thinking
• Problem-Solving Skills (PS) refer to the ability to recognize and address and resolve financial concerns and challenges
• It is essential to possess technical skills namely the ability to utilize financial software and tools like Microsoft Dynamics 365
• This would be an extra advantage if you have experience working with the Big Four audit firms

• The process of developing budgets anticipating financial performance and analyzing financial data in order to observe patterns and identify areas that require improvement
• The task involves the preparation and presentation of financial accounts reports and presentations that are both clear and simple aimed at both internal and external stakeholders
• I am responsible for the design and execution of efficient financial processes and controls
• Managing the investments of the firm ensuring that they obtain optimal returns while simultaneously avoiding risk
• The process of identifying and reducing financial risks with the aim of ensuring that the company is providing sufficient protection against potential hazards
• Ensuring compliance with financial regulations tax laws and any other pertinent legal obligations that may be applicable
• I am responsible for managing and mentoring the finance team as well as overseeing their improvement and performance
• The act of providing senior management and the board with financial insights and suggestions in order to support strategic decision-making
• Recognizing and putting into action enhancements to the processes and controls that pertain to financial matters
• I am responsible for managing the cash flow of the firm in order to guarantee that there are adequate funds available for both operations and investments
• Interaction and management of customers and those who provide services or consultancies
• Internal and external auditors are involved in the interaction process

Systems and Technology

• The term "navision"
• Microsoft Office particularly Excel Word Outlook and PowerPoint is used
• A standard office equipment includes a fax machine telephone printer and personal computer
