Main Responsibilities

  • Find and evaluate area prospects to help enterprise banking, WIB, investment clubs and saccos, agriculture, and the bank's focus sectors expand
  • Create and carry out plans to make the bank more visible in the areas where it does business
  • Make the most of chances in the ecosystem by coordinating tactics in the bank's main areas of concentration
  • Encourage relationships and collaborations that will make the bank a stronger player in the region's enterprise banking market
  • Work closely with Business Bankers to improve the ways you sell and the methods you use
  • Help Business Bankers reach and go beyond their goals by giving them advice and support
  • Visit current and future top clients in the region to make sales, find leads, and close deals on all opportunities found in the market
  • Look at market trends and customer needs to help create a diverse and competitive product mix that meets the needs of each location
  • Work with product development teams to come up with new solutions that are made only for business clients in the area
  • Keep an eye on and rate how well Business Bankers are doing against sales goals
  • Take corrective steps and start new projects to make sure that goals are always met and things get better
  • Hold regular sales meetings to talk about goals, success so far, and how each person is doing
  • Do in-depth market research to find trends, chances, and possible threats in the area
  • Based on market intelligence, give senior management advice and insights
  • Build and keep solid relationships with important people inside and outside the company
  • Be the bank's representative at events and forums that are all about enterprise banking
  • Make and carry out strategic strategies that are in line with the overall goals of the enterprise banking segment
  • Work with teams from different departments to make sure that strategies are put into action smoothly
  • Improve training for Business Bankers and Branch Network on how to sell and help customers
  • Do any other tasks that your boss may give you

What you need to know, be able to do, and have experience with

Academic Qualifications

Bachelor's DegreeBusiness, Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, or Management
Certified Banking Qualification or Master's DegreeIn a related discipline (a plus)
TrainingHow to grow a firm in the financial services area

Experience

Banking or Similar FieldAt least five years
Sales, Schemes, and People ManagementThree years

Other Skills and Qualifications

  • Must be able to think critically, analyze information, pay attention to details, and solve problems
  • Being able to talk and write well
  • Must know a lot about the features, prices, benefits, positioning, design, and promotions of Enterprise Banking products
  • Advanced talents in computers, numbers, and statistics
  • Interpersonal skills, being assertive, having a "self-starter" disposition, being enthusiastic, and being a natural net worker
  • A team-oriented mindset to aid end users with technical issues
